"It'd seem, judging by this and that recent Lazerboy / Quigley LP, that there are some weird things going on out here in the provinces. Quite what King's Lynn did to Magoo to make them create this seven-track EP of warped-avant-pop I don't know, but social services should be informed. This is twisted, touching stuff : everything's on treble, all beats suspended, every idea given only one chance, reminding me of the Swirlies in a real fucking hurry. Inspired. I want more."
